Carolinas in the Pines 2021

Carolinas In The Pines 2019

Our Specialty moved this year to Camp Fellowship on Lake Greenwood, South Carolina where everyone could stay on the property, whether they wanted a room with “facilities” or wanted to camp out or bring a camper!  It was a “roaring” fire of a success!  The event is always planned so that our National Specialty Show is held out of doors so the dogs can be shown in their natural environment, however, this year, the rain sent us inside some of the time.  Just like the Carolina Dog, adaptable to its environment, the club adapted and still managed two great shows.  Dr. Brisbin lectured on the breed, and we had dog events such as an introduction to Barn Hunting, and our most popular “Howl-O-Ween” costume contest.  Each year the contestants up the ante!

Swamp Fest 2018

This year’s Swamp Fest had 2 shows despite being limited in our usual show grounds due to flooding and hurricanes.
That didn’t dampen she spirit of competitors!
We had twenty plus entries, and both judges were very impressed with the quality of entries!
The Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest was a “howling” success!

CAROLINA DOGS HIT IT BIG AGAIN WITH ANOTHER ALL BREED “BEST IN SHOW”!

The Carolina Dog Society of America in conjunction with the United Dog Owners Group hosted 4 Carolina Dog Specialties and participated in the two UDOG All Breed Show in Haugton, Louisianna during the weekend of February 16-18, 2018.  Last August, both an Altered and a Regular Carolina Dog took Best in Show at one of the UDOG shows and once again, an Altered Bitch, Sand River Bella and owner/handler Kim Waters, took Best in Show at one of the two UDOG events!
